The Child Development Program, in addition to theoretical courses, is a four-semester higher education program aimed at training individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide music, art, drama, and gymnastics education to children undergoing treatment in playrooms at preschool education and special education institutions, and child clinics, ensuring they have a pleasant time, preparing materials (puppets, concept and topic cards, story writing), and applying first aid rules. The goal of this program is to train students at the end of the two-year associate degree period to provide education aimed at all aspects of children's development in preschool education and special education institutions, as well as in children's clinics in hospitals, and to provide them with music, art, drama, and gymnastics education.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of the Child Development Program are awarded the "Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Gölhisar Vocational School of Health Services Associate Degree Diploma." They can work as master instructors or paid teachers in kindergartens and nursery classes affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, as administrators, teachers, and teacher assistants in private nurseries and kindergartens, as teachers and teacher assistants in special education and rehabilitation centers, as assistant parent educators in private research and consultancy companies, and as caregiver mothers in Mother Child Health Centers, Institutions Providing Inpatient Treatment, and Social Services Child Protection Institutions.
