Announcement About Course Registration and Renewal Procedures

The courses for the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year at our university in our University's Associate and Undergraduate Academic Calendar will start on the dates specified.
All registered students (except preparatory class) must complete their course registration/renewal procedures within the specified periods through the Student Information System (https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/ogrenci/login.aspx) and the registration renewal periods will not be extended.
Students who do not register for courses within the specified period and in accordance with the procedures; cannot attend classes, cannot take the exams of these courses, cannot benefit from student rights for this semester, and the elapsed time is included in the education period.
During the course registration/renewal procedures, the contribution fee/tuition fee; can be learned from the "Tuition Information" menu on the Student Information System (https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/ogrenci/login.aspx) and after the contribution fee/tuition fee is paid by specifying the student number through Vakıflar Bank Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and ATM anywhere in Turkey, the course registration process is completed.
Payment of the contribution fee/tuition fee via internet banking;
Payments/other payments/education payments menu, by selecting our University and using student numbers.
In the process of depositing the contribution fee/tuition fee, definitely do not perform a Transfer/EFT transaction.
Students who need to register for courses after paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;
Second education and distance education program students, (including preparatory class)
First education students who have completed the program duration, (including students within the maximum education period or those who have completed the maximum education period)
Students enrolled in a second higher education institution, (of the last enrolled program)
Undergraduate completion students,
Students accepted from abroad (foreign nationals),
cannot register for courses without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.
Students who need to register for courses without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;
All other students studying within the normal program duration in the first education (except foreign national students) can complete their course registration procedures without paying the contribution fee.
Students who only have a mandatory internship left to graduate can complete their course registration procedures and internship work without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.
The path to follow during registration renewal through the Student Automation System (ÖBS):
To register for courses, log in to the Student Information System. In the Course and Term Transactions menu, press the "Course Registration" button. After selecting the courses on the screen that opens, use the "Check" button to check the courses. Then the "Finalize" button will appear. By pressing the "Finalize" button, the courses you have finalized will be sent to the page of your academic advisor from the system. After the approval of the academic advisor, your course registration is completed.
The academic advisor and the student determine the added or removed courses together.
The course registrations of students who select courses are finalized after the control and approval of the academic advisor.
Courses that are not approved by the academic advisor cannot be registered and are not considered registered.
IMPORTANT: Every transaction related to course selection and registration renewal is recorded based on date, time, and user. Therefore, all responsibility lies with the student who registers for courses and renews registration and their academic advisor.
